Dr. Arya partners with both young and older adults of all activity levels to get them on their feet safely and effectively, as quickly as possible. Custom Orthotics
Customized inserts that fit into your shoes, whether an athlete, dress, or sport specific shoe are called “orthotics.” Inserts are often sold over the counter, and Dr. Arya suggests you bring the shoes and inserts you are wearing currently into the office for an evaluation. Dr. Arya is trained in making custom adjustments to inserts and might be able to modify the ones you have. She specializes in making custom inserts. A custom insert is hand molded cast Dr.Arya makes for her patients. No two feet are alike, even on the same person! So a persciption specific inlay in your shoes can improve gait, posture, and stability. Stop by for more information.

Dr. Arya has experience and provides compassionate care for in office procedures. She offers many in office surgical procedures including injections for plantar fasciitis, neuromas, nerve entrapment, arthritic joints, capsule inflammation, and much more! She also performs cyst aspiration, permanent and non-permanent partial toenail removal, wart excision, callus debridement with acid treatment, skin and biopsies.

Ages 65 and up is no longer considered “OLD” Many 70 year old patients are more active than 30 year old patients. In combination with thorough physical exam, work up, and often gait analyisis; Dr. Arya may obtain ancillary imaging Ancillary imaging includes x-rays and ultrasound. X-rays aren’t just important for traumatic injuries; they can be life saving documentation for Diabetics, indication of tumors in the bones of patient’s of all ages, and show the advanced nature of foot pathology. Ultrasound is often utilized to determine if there are injuries to the soft tissue, capsule, ligaments, tendons, and stress fractures in the bones.
